Several reports that have emerged recently link Oumar Niasse with a summer switch to Turkish giants Galatasaray as the clubs actively seek a deal. The Senegalese international is apparently keen on the move and is more than happy to sign on the dotted line, according to Fanatik and Turkish-Football.
Niasse is allegedely keen on the Champions League experience he cou,d gain in Turkey but due to financial Fair Play Regulations, there could be some obstacles in the way. The Turkish outfit are allegedly under pressure to reduce spending in this window and a loan move could possibly be a more viable option for the Everton player.
Niasse had a difficult start to life at Goodison as he failed to break into Martinez’s starting 11 and was then demoted to the Under-23’s by Koeman before the Dutch manager was forced to turn to the Striker to rescue three points against Bournemouth. Since then, Niasse has been used mainly as a backup to Cenk Tosun whilst registering 12 goals for the Toffees this season. It may be time for Niasse’s Everton career to end as many perceive him to lack the quality needed to break into the top 6 and will undoubtedly remain a deputy to Cenk Tosun.
