Everton have been linked to a move for Watford Winger, Ismaila Sarr. According to The Mirror Everton are exploring a move this coming January Transfer Window for the Senegalese International with a reported figure of £35 Million.
The 24 year old has played 17 games for the Hornets in the Championship this season and has 9 goal contributions with 6 goals and 3 assists to his name. Sarr almost joined Aston Villa this summer for a fee of £25 Million with add-ons before Villa pulled the plug on the deal at the last minute.
Everton are needing more attacking reinforcements to their squad after Everton’s forward line has been lacking so far seeing the blues sit 17th in the Premier League table.
Toffee Blues says;
3/5 – It is pretty known that Everton want to sign some more attacking players this January and Ismaila Sarr fits the bill in what Everton need; a pacy, tricky winger who will contribute with goals and assists. With Everton’s previous history with Watford it is no surprise to see the blues look again to Vicarage Road to try add some quality to the squad. Sarr of course is an international teammate of Idrissa Gueye so the Everton midfielder could of been in Sarr’s ear during this World Cup to try convinve him of a move. The sticking point for Everton on any deal could be the reported £35 Million Watford are apparently wanting which is a big fee for a Winger at a Championship club. If Everton can try and bring the fee down slightly and try bargain for a good initial fee with the rest paid in add-ons it could be a smart signing. This is one I would say to keep an eye on this January.
