La Liga:

Adam Aznou- Malaga- 20th out of 20

Aznou is still yet to feature for Malaga, as Los Albicelestes await their first victory in the Spanish top-flight after a difficult return to La Liga.

The left-back didn’t make the squad for last week’s consecutive defeats to Villareal and Getafe, with Juan Francisco Funes’ side bottom of the table and winless in seven.

Malaga host Espanyol after the international break in desperate need of three points.

Ligue 3:

George Morgan- AS Cannes- 7th out of 18

Morgan featured in both of Cannes’ fixtures last week, as Les Dragons extended their unbeaten record to eight matches following draws at SC Bastia and US Orleans.

The forward has played in every game under Mathieu Chabert so far, netting once in August.

Cannes welcome QRM to Stade Pierre de Coubertin on Saturday, looking to continue their fine form.

League Two:

Joel Catesby- Accrington Stanley- 19th out of 24

Catesby made his first start for Stanley in the club’s midweek win over Sunderland u21’s in the Jersey Mike’s Trophy, before appearing as a late substitute at Swindon Town.

The winger replaced Josh Woods on 83 minutes with The Reds searching for a late winner.

John Doolan’s side have struggled for victories so far- winning just once in eight games- and Accrington will be hoping to add to that tally at home to Cheltenham Town next.

League One:

Elijah Campbell- MK Dons-19th out of 24

Campbell enjoyed a successful week in Buckinghamshire, as the defender scored and kept a clean sheet to help Paul Warne’s side go unbeaten.

The 22-year-old netted the third in MK Dons’ 4-1 cup win over Crawley Town, just days after making his debut for the club in a 0-0 draw with AFC Wimbledon.

Campbell is back in action on October 6th against Brentford u21’s in the Jersey Mike’s Trophy.

National League North:

Douglass Lukjanciks- Southport- 19th out of 24

Lukjanciks started twice in a difficult week for Southport, as The Yellows crashed out of the FA Cup to Morecambe before throwing away a two-goal lead against bottom-of-the-league Spennymoor Town.

The goalkeeper joined The Sandgrounders with the club managerless, and things haven’t gotten easier for the Merseysiders since.

Southport travel to Harborough Town on October 10th, with no game scheduled this week due to FA Cup fixtures being played.
