Billy Crellin- Accrington Stanley- 21st out of 24
Crellin missed the final five fixtures of the season through injury after an impressive campaign for Accrington.
The goalkeeper kept 13 clean sheets in 38 games for a struggling Stanley, as The Reds narrowly avoided relegation.
Jenson Metcalfe- Chesterfield- 7th out of 24
Metcalfe started Chesterfield’s 1-0 win at Accrington Stanley, as Paul Cook’s side secured a play-off slot after Salford City and Grimsby Town slipped up elsewhere.
The midfielder played 96 minutes of The Spireites’ nerve-wracking away victory, and will now gear up to host Walsall in the semi-final first leg on Sunday.
Francis Okoronkwo- Salford City- 8th out of 24
Okoronkwo’s season came to an end in March after picking up a second injury of the campaign, meaning the forward missed the Ammies’ unsuccessful promotion push.
The 20-year-old finished his loan spell with four goals in 24 games.
League One:
Harry Tyrer- Blackpool- 9th out of 24
Tyrer continued his run between the sticks as Blackpool beat already-relegated Bristol Rovers 4-1 in a dead-rubber final day clash.
The goalkeeper was at fault for the visitors’ early goal, being caught on the ball by Gatlin O’Donkor.
Championship:
Mason Holgate- West Bromwich Albion- 9th out of 24
Holgate was absent from the matchday squad as West Brom triumphed 5-3 over Luton Town, relegating The Hatters in the process.
The defender finished the campaign with 27 appearances for The Baggies and is out of contract at Everton this summer.
Harrison Armstrong- Derby County- 19th out of 24
Armstrong completed the great escape with Derby, sealing safety with a 0-0 draw to Stoke City on Saturday.
The midfielder’s inspired form, coupled with the appointment of John Eustace, saw The Rams surge from the foot of the table having been seven points adrift in February.
The 18-year-old finished his loan with 15 appearances and one goal, earning rave reviews from the Pride Park faithful.
Scottish Premiership:
Elijah Campbell- Ross County- 11th out of 12
Campbell was dropped to the bench for the first time this season, with Ross County desperately searching for answers as their wretched run of form continues.
The club are now staring down the barrel of a relegation play-off, after a six-game losing streak.
The defender travels to St. Johnstone on Saturday, hoping to be reinstated to the starting eleven.
Ligue 1:
Neal Maupay- Marseille- 2nd out of 18
Maupay was an unused substitute in Marseille’s 1-1 away draw to Lille.
Roberto De Zerbi’s side are away to Le Havre next.
