Everton look set to make their third signing of the Summer with Goalkeeper Mark Travers on Merseyside to complete his Everton medical according to Sky Sports News
Reports of Everton’s interest in the 26 year old came last week from Sky Sports News.
Everton have started pre-season with Jordan Pickford and Harry Tyrer as the only options to have played first team football. U21 Goalkeeper Douglas Lukjanciks is currently training with the first team this pre-season which is promising for his development.
Travers has played over 80 games for Bournemouth and kept 30 clean sheets since joining their academy in 2016.
Travers spent the second half of last season on loan at Middlesbrough where he played 17 games and kept 4 clean sheets.

Toffee Blues says;

5/5 – This deal looks like it is just awaiting the final sign off. Mark Travers will bring strong competition to Jordan Pickford for the number 1 spot at Everton.
Losing the likes of Asmir Begovic and Joao Virginia it was important that Everton got their backup goalkeeper sorted early and the signing proved to be someone who we can trust if anything were to happen to Jordan Pickford. Travers is that man.
