Everton have agreed a fee of £12.9 million with Barcelona for Lucas Digne, according to Mundo Deportivo in Spain, and the defender has already said his goodbyes to teammates.
Digne is on tour with Barca in the US, but could soon be leaving and heading to Everton, with it being said that a deal could be completed by Monday/Tuesday.
Digne was pictured today embracing all of his teammates in the US today – it’s believed he was wishing farewell to his Barca teammates.
Marcel Brands reportedly flew out to Barcelona yesterday in order to tie up a deal for the Frenchman.
Barcelona were reportedly keen to sell Digne, Mina and Paco Alcacer before the closure of the window – which means there could be more action on that front for Everton with Yerry Mina – we’ll have to wait to find out.
So, it looks like Digne is a done deal and reports say it could be announced as early as Monday.
