Recent reports have linked Malian international Moussa Marega with a summer move to Goodison in a deal that could be worth over £30 million, according to Portugese outlet CM Journal. Marega has attracted interest from several Premier League clubs after registering 22 goals and 6 assists for FC Porto.
The Portguese outfit are allegedly willing to listen to offers in excess of £30 million which seems to be almost the average price in this day’s market. Marega also reportedly has a release clauseof £35.4 million but Porto will listen to offers slightly lower despite finishing top of Primeira Liga and presumably not willing to lose some of their key men.
Nevertheless, Marega is a strong and powerful striker in a similar style to Cenk Tosun and it is diffocult to see whether this would be a direct replacement in the starting 11 for the Turkish international or as another squad player with Oumar Niasse potentially on his way out of the door.
