First up we have some news that emerged late last night. It is rumoured that Everton will attempt to sign Jack Wilshere on a free transfer if he rejects any further contract offers from Arsenal.
Possibly the biggest news of the day is an update on Gylfi Sigurdsson’s injury. The club announced today that he is set to be sidelined for up to 8 weeks, meaning his season is effectively over. Wish you a speedy recovery, Gylfi!
There have been some further developments in Robert Elstone’s departure from Everton. The Liverpool Echo and others have reported that he will continue talks with the Betfred Super League in the next 24 hours.
