Player Ratings: Manchester United (A)

Here we have it lads and ladies, the player ratings for yesterdays horror show at Old Trafford.

Pickford – 6
Not his usual self. Not a bad performance, but a couple of out of character errors.

Baines – 6

Tried in vain, but couldn’t really get into the game. A few intelligent left footed balls.

Williams – 5

Some great moments, and then an absolute clanger to gift the game to United. Jekyll & Hyde. Only a career ending tackle on Lukaku could have reprieved him.

Jagielka – 7
Our best central defender for me. His ability to read a game is invaluable.

Keane – 6
Slightly shaky again from the Mancunian wardrobe. Hopefully an easier run in can restore him.

Cuco Martina – 7

Some really great attacking play. A pain in the arse to United. The lad does a job.

Schneiderlin – 6

Nothing spectacular, but a few moments of being an absolute snide. Which of course I’m all for.

Gueye – 6
Not as active as usual from the African Rolls Royce.

Davies – 7

The Ketwig Kaiser looks to be returning to his former glory. Looked to trouble United on several occasions. Delighted to see him back in the fold.

Siggurdson – 6

Still in the bedding in period, it seems. But flashes of an intelligent footballing brain. The Icelandic Prince threatened on occasions.

Rooney – 6
Huffed, and puffed, but just couldn’t get that goal.

Subs
Calvert-Lewin – 6

Not really enough time to make an impact, but didn’t look out of place against a top side.

Mirrallas – 7
Now I know he was only on briefly, but looked dangerous. He certainly freshens things up.

And there we have it Blues. Here’s hoping we can get our act together for Sunderland in the cup on Wednesday!
