Injuries galore! Tamen nearing Rovers return!

League One:

Martin Sherif/Elijah Campbell- Port Vale- 24th out of 24

Both loanees started Vale’s fixtures this week, as Jon Brady’s side drew to play-off chasing Huddersfield Town before suffering a late 3-2 defeat at Blackpool.

Sherif was substituted in both, whilst Campbell played the full 90 minutes in each game.

The Valiants host Bolton Wanderers on Saturday.

 

Roman Dixon- Stockport County- 5th out of 24

Dixon was an unused substitute in Stockport’s loss at Lincoln City, and was absent from the matchday squad for Tuesday’s 2-1 win over Northampton Town.

The Hatters travel to Luton Town next.

 

League Two:

Isaac Heath- Accrington Stanley- 15th out of 24

Heath missed out on Accrington’s poor week due to injury, as The Reds made it six games without a win.

The winger limped off during Stanley’s match against Cambridge United on March 7th, having played 33 times to date in an impressive loan spell in Lancashire.

John Doolan’s side welcome Chesterfield to The Crown Ground on Saturday, looking to turn their form around.

 

Will Tamen- Tranmere Rovers- 20th out of 24

Tamen returned to Tranmere after six weeks’ rehabilitation at Finch Farm, with Rovers fighting for their lives to stay in the Football League.

The defender rejoins The Whites on a miserable run of form, as new manager Pete Wild hopes to end a seven-game winless run.

Tranmere host Swindon Town next, however Tamen is likely to miss out.

 

National League North:

Fraser Barnsley- Marine- 13th out of 24

Barnsley was missing from both of Marine’s fixtures last week, as The Lilywhites beat Worksop Town and drew with Peterborough Sports to end a three-game losing streak.

The Mariners make the trip to Telford United on Saturday.

 

George Pickford- Southport- 15th out of 24

Pickford remains sidelined due to a thumb injury sustained in the FA Trophy, as Southport experienced a mixed week on home soil.

Neil Danns’ side lost to Oxford City before beating Alfreton Town on Tuesday, and The Sandgrounders head to Chester next with the ‘keeper set to miss out once more.

 

Scottish Championship:

George Finney- Ayr United- 5th out of 10

Finney started Ayr’s 1-1 draw at Queen’s Park on Saturday, with the full back picking up a yellow card in the 84th minute.

The Honest Men are at home to Morton next.

 

Championnat National 2:

George Morgan- AS Cannes- 2nd out of 16

Morgan was forced off injured in early March, and missed Cannes’ 1-1 draw at GFA Rumilly Vallieres.

Les Dragons face EFC Frejus Saint Raphael on Saturday.

 

1 Liga:

Jack Patterson- LSK Lodz- 9th out of 18

Patterson was selected as a substitute for Lodz’s 1-1 home draw with Odra Opole, as the midfielder awaits his debut in Poland.

Grezegorz Szoka’s side meet Ruch Chorzow next.
