League One:

Francis Okoronkwo- Doncaster Rovers- 18th out of 24

Okoronkwo missed Doncaster’s 2-1 win at Rotherham United due to injury, as Grant McCann’s side went five points clear of safety.

Rovers host Cardiff City next.

 

Martin Sherif/Elijah Campbell- Port Vale- 24th out of 24

Sherif scored his first goal for Vale on Saturday, netting a dramatic 96th minute equaliser against Reading.

The Valiants backed up their late point with a 1-0 win over Northampton Town in midweek, with both loanees in the starting eleven.

The Everton duo are hoping to continue their strong start to life in Staffordshire against Luton Town next.

 

Tyler Onyango/Roman Dixon- Stockport County- 5th out of 24

News came last week that Tyler Onyango will now miss the rest of the season after suffering a hamstring injury in Stockport’s 1-0 defeat to Bradford City in the previous week. The 23 year old will now under go surgery for the injury. Roman Dixon was an unused substitute in a 3-0 away defeat to Burton Albion.

The Hatters travel to Stevenage on Saturday.

 

League Two:

Isaac Heath- Accrington Stanley- 13th out of 24

Heath played the full 90 minutes of Stanley’s back-to-back losses to Shrewsbury Town and Barnet, as John Doolan’s side lost ground in their hunt for the play-offs.

Accrington face table-topping Bromley away this weekend.

 

National League North:

Fraser Barnsley- Marine- 10th out of 24

Barnsley experienced a mixed week on the road, as the ‘keeper recorded his eighth clean sheet of the season at Oxford City, before being thumped 4-0 away to Kidderminster Harriers.

The 21-year-old is in cup action on Saturday, as Marine welcome Woking to Rossett Park in the FA Trophy Quarter Final.

 

George Pickford- Southport- 17th out of 24

Pickford started Southport’s 1-1 draw with Kidderminster on Saturday, before being recalled by Everton to cover Mark Travers after the Irishman sustained an injury.

The stopper played three times for Southport, keeping one clean sheet and being awarded Player of the Match on his debut.

 

Scottish Championship:

George Finney- Ayr United- 4th out of 10

Finney scored his second goal for the club in Tuesday night’s Challenge Cup Semi Final, however the wing-back couldn’t inspire Ayr to victory.

The 18-year-old levelled the scoring on 34 minutes, but it was Inverness Caledonian Thistle who found the winner in the game’s dying embers.

Scott Brown’s side make the trip to St. Johnstone next.

 

Championnat National 2:

George Morgan- AS Cannes- 3rd out of 16

Morgan was handed his first start in France on Saturday, as the forward played the full 90 minutes in Cannes’ 1-1 away draw with Istres FC.

Les Dragons are next in action on March 6th, at home to FC Limonest.

 

1 Liga:

Jack Patterson- LSK Lodz- 11th out of 18

Patterson is still awaiting his debut at Lodz, as the midfielder was again missing from the squad in their 2-1 defeat to Stal Mielec.

The Knights of Spring host Mied Legnica next.
