Dixon makes Stockport debut! Pickford impresses at Southport!

League One:

Francis Okoronkwo- Doncaster Rovers- 20th out of 24

Okoronkwo has missed Doncaster’s recent fixtures due to injury, with the forward ruled out for up to four weeks.

Rovers progressed to the final four of the EFL Trophy in midweek after beating Huddersfield Town on penalties, and Grant McCann’s side face the same opposition on Tuesday night.

 

Martin Sherif/Elijah Campbell- Port Vale- 24th out of 24

Campbell made his full debut in Vale’s 2-2 home draw with Burton Albion last Saturday, and retained his place as they bowed out of the EFL Trophy to Stockport during the week.

Sherif is yet to appear for The Valiants as he continues his injury rehabilitation at Finch Farm, however Campbell remains available for their next meeting with Stevenage.

 

Tyler Onyango/Roman Dixon- Stockport County- 4th out of 24

Both loanees enjoyed a successful week, as Dixon made his debut for The Hatters whilst Onyango returned to action against Port Vale after a month on the sidelines.

Josh Dacres-Cogley’s sending off at home to Leyton Orient provided Dixon with a chance, and the Everton pair started alongside each other in Stockport’s 4-0 EFL Trophy win at Vale Park.

County travel to Bradford City next, looking to continue their six-game unbeaten run in League One.

 

League Two:

Isaac Heath- Accrington Stanley- 13th out of 24

Heath played the full 90 minutes in Accrington’s 1-0 away loss to Grimsby Town, as Stanley’s three-match winning streak came to an end.

John Doolan’s side make the short trip to Tranmere on Tuesday night, hoping to bounce back to winning ways.

 

National League North:

Fraser Barnsley- Marine- 10th out of 24

Barnsley recorded his seventh clean sheet of the season on Saturday, as Marine triumphed 5-0 over struggling Leamington.

The Lilywhites sit three points outside the play-offs heading into their next clash away at Oxford City.

 

George Pickford- Southport- 18th out of 24

Pickford received plaudits from Southport boss Neil Danns after his impressive debut against Hereford.

The Sandgrounders ran out 5-1 winners, however the 19-year-old goalkeeper produced a string of saves in the first half to ensure his side went in ahead at the break.

Southport visit Kidderminster Harriers, looking to stretch the gap between themselves and the bottom four.

 

Scottish Championship:

George Finney- Ayr United- 4th out of 10

Both of Ayr’s fixtures were postponed last week, leaving Finney without a game.

Scott Brown’s side host Ross County next.

 

Championnat National 2:

George Morgan- AS Cannes- 3rd out of 16

Morgan netted his first senior goal on debut for AS Cannes, scoring the equaliser in the 71st minute en route to a 3-2 comeback win against Saint Priest.

The forward appeared as a substitute in Les Dragons’ 2-1 victory against Andrexieux, and will be hoping for a maiden start at Istres FC on Saturday.

 

1 Liga:

Jack Patterson- LSK Lodz- 11th out of 18

Patterson is yet to make his debut for Lodz, with the midfielder absent from both of Grzegorz Szoka’s recent squads.

The Knights of Spring are away to Stal Mielec next.
