Championship:
Harrison Armstrong- Preston North End- 9th out of 24
Armstrong is yet to appear for Preston having joined on deadline day, but impressed supporters again with an excellent display for England u19’s during the international break.
The homegrown midfielder equalised for the Young Lions in the 87th minute to prevent a Spanish victory and is now set to meet up with his new club, who host Middlesbrough this weekend.
League One:
Francis Okoronkwo- Lincoln City- 8th out of 24
Okoronkwo has featured five times for The Imps thus far, however, he has yet to start a league game- his latest cameo coming at home to Wigan Athletic where he appeared as an 85th minute substitute.
Lincoln travel to Burton Albion on Saturday, with the 20-year-old hoping to be given the nod from the off.
Martin Sherif- Rotherham United- 17th out of 24
Sherif’s first loan away from Everton got off to a flying start, as the striker netted on his senior debut, turning home Reece James’ cross in a 2-2 draw with Wigan Athletic.
The 19-year-old has played twice since, scoring none, and is back in action at AFC Wimbledon next.
Tyler Onyango- Stockport County- 9th out of 24
Onyango’s return to Stockport didn’t go as hoped, as the loanee was deployed as a right centre-back in Saturday’s 4-2 loss to Plymouth Argyle.
The defender was substituted after 66 minutes but will hope to keep his place at home to Cardiff City this weekend.
League Two:
Isaac Heath- Accrington Stanley- 24th out of 24
Another player to move on deadline day, Heath’s maiden loan got off to a dream start, as the pacy winger scored, assisted and slotted home a penalty in Accrington’s shootout defeat to Fleetwood Town in the Virtu EFL Trophy
The 20-year-old kept his place for The Reds’ next game, however failed to have the same impact as John Doolan’s side continued their winless run with a 1-0 loss at Cheltenham Town.
Stanley are at home to Colchester United next.
National League North:
Fraser Barnsley- Marine- 18th out of 24
Barnsley penned a deal with National League North outfit Marine late in the window and is yet to be handed a start for The Lilywhites.
The goalkeeper heads to Newcastle Blue Star on Saturday, in search of a first senior appearance.
