Armstrong remains sidelined with a groin injury he picked up on international duty, as the midfielder missed Preston’s 3-2 win at Sheffield Wednesday.
The 18-year-old has been ruled out of PNE’s last three games, and will be hoping for a return to the side against Wrexham on Saturday.
League One:
Francis Okoronkwo- Lincoln City- 4th out of 24
Okoronkwo didn’t make the matchday squad for Lincoln’s win against Port Vale, before playing 12 minutes in their Vertu Trophy defeat to Huddersfield Town in midweek.
The Imps host Barnsley next.
Martin Sherif- Rotherham United- 13th out of 24
Sherif’s injury woes continued as the forward missed Rotherham’s fixtures against Wycombe Wanderers and Salford City.
Matt Hamshaw’s side stretched their unbeaten run to nine matches in the forward’s absence heading into their clash with Blackpool on Saturday.
Tyler Onyango- Stockport County- 5th out of 24
Onyango was injured for both of Stockport’s games this week, as The Hatters slipped to fifth in the table.
County welcome Cambridge United to Edgeley Park in the FA Cup next.
League Two:
Isaac Heath- Accrington Stanley- 17th out of 24
Heath played the full 90 minutes in Accrington’s 1-0 win over Oldham Athletic, as John Doolan’s side extended their unbeaten run to five games.
The 20-year-old faces Mansfield Town on Saturday.
National League North:
Fraser Barnsley/Odin Samuels Smith- Marine- 8th out of 24
Marine’s clash with Hereford was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch, providing both loanees with a week off.
The Lilywhites host Spennymoor Town next, looking to get back into the play-off spots.
North West Counties:
Goodness Gospel-Eze- Burscough- 8th out of 24
Gospel-Eze recorded his eighth clean sheet of the season at Abbey Hey on Tuesday night, as Burscough continued their hunt for a top six spot.
