Championship:
Harrison Armstrong- Preston North End- 5th out of 24
Armstrong featured as a second half substitute in Preston’s 1-0 win at Derby County on Saturday, as The Lilywhites entered the play-off spots.
The midfielder replaced ex-Everton forward Lewis Dobbin after 67 minutes, helping Preston see out all three points against his former club.
Paul Heckingbottom’s side host Bristol City next, looking to continue their fine start to the season.
League One:
Francis Okoronkwo- Lincoln City- 3rd out of 24
Okoronkwo made two appearances off the bench this week, as Lincoln continued their impressive run of form under Michael Skubala.
The forward replaced Freddie Draper on 79 minutes with the game level on Saturday, before two late goals saw them triumph over Luton Town to go third.
The Imps’ ten-match unbeaten run came to an end in midweek though, as they bowed out of the Carabao Cup after a 2-1 home loss to Chelsea, with the loanee being introduced on 85 minutes.
Lincoln are away to Peterborough United next.
Martin Sherif- Rotherham United- 21st out of 24
Sherif was again absent from Matt Hamshaw’s matchday squad, with the forward still ruled out due to a hamstring injury.
The striker is expected to return to action this weekend though, as The Millers travel to Mansfield Town.
Tyler Onyango- Stockport County- 8th out of 24
Onyango wasn’t selected for The Hatters’ 1-0 win at Rotherham United.
Stockport face Reading at Edgeley Park on Saturday.
League Two:
Isaac Heath- Accrington Stanley- 18th out of 24
Heath continued his electric start to life at Accrington last weekend, providing the assist for Charlie Caton’s 73rd minute winner as John Doolan’s side made it back-to-back wins with a 2-1 away victory against MK Dons.
The young forward has delighted the Stanley crowd thus far, and was heavily involved in Saturday’s triumph, driving down the line before delivering a low cross for Caton to convert from close range.
Accrington are at home to high-flying Walsall next.
National League North:
Fraser Barnsley- Marine- 18th out of 24
Barnsley backed up last week’s solid debut with another fine display, as the 20-year-old stopper was voted player of the match in Marine’s 1-1 draw with King’s Lynn Town.
The goalkeeper remains unbeaten at his new club, picking up four points in two matches, whilst conceding just once.
The Mariners are back in action against Buxton on Saturday.
