Championship:
Harrison Armstrong- Preston North End- 4th out of 24
Armstrong enjoyed a fine spell at Deepdale, prompting a recall to Merseyside in January to provide cover in Everton’s midfield.
The 18-year-old played 17 times for Preston, scoring once against Wrexham, and leaves the club with Paul Heckingbottom’s side fourth in the table.
David Moyes did hint at a potential return to The Lilywhites at the end of January though, should The Toffees no longer require Armstrong’s services.
League One:
Francis Okoronkwo- Lincoln City- 2nd out of 24
Okoronkwo has been a regular squad member in Lincoln’s excellent start to the season, as The Imps are challenging for promotion after going eight games unbeaten.
The forward has largely appeared from the bench for City though, scoring just twice in 20 matches as well as being an unused substitute in their last four fixtures.
Lincoln travel to Luton Town on January 17th looking to continue their red-hot form.
Martin Sherif- Rotherham United- 22nd out of 24
Despite a promising start to life in Yorkshire, Sherif’s first senior loan was curtailed by injury and led to a recall in January with The Millers in the relegation zone.
The Dutchman scored on his debut against Wigan Athletic, however soon found himself on the treatment table after a persistent hamstring problem.
Sherif finished his loan with two goals in ten games.
Tyler Onyango- Stockport County- 6th out of 24
Onyango has had an indifferent season at Edgeley Park to date, with the 22-year-old failing to nail down a regular spot in Dave Challinor’s side.
Stockport sit sixth in the table after a spell of inconsistent form, with Onyango playing eleven times so far.
League Two:
Isaac Heath- Accrington Stanley- 14th out of 24
Heath has enjoyed a fantastic start to his senior career at Accrington, scoring five goals in 20 games for John Doolan’s side.
Often deployed at left-wing back, Heath has been a mainstay since his deadline day arrival with many Stanley fans impressed by the loanee’s form.
The Reds host Barnet on Saturday looking for their fourth consecutive win.
National League North:
Fraser Barnsley/Odin Samuels-Smith- Marine- 10th out of 24
Both goalkeeper and defender have adapted well to life in non-league, with Barnsley keeping four clean sheets in 15- aided by Samuels-Smith in twelve of those fixtures.
Marine are well in the hunt for the play-offs and head to Buxton next.
North West Counties:
Goodness Gospel-Eze- Burscough- 7th out of 24
Gospel-Eze has started 32 games for Burscough so far, recording 10 clean sheet as David Dempsey’s side sit three points outside the play-offs.
The Linnets travel to the Isle of Man on Saturday with the goalkeeper set to start again.
