Championship:
Harrison Armstrong- Preston North End- 4th out of 24
Armstrong played the full 90 minutes of Preston’s 2-0 win over Charlton Athletic, as Paul Heckingbottom’s side head into the international break occupying a play-off spot.
The midfielder impressed the Deepdale faithful with a strong performance against The Addicks, and will be hoping to build on his encouraging start against West Bromwich Albion next time out.
League One:
Francis Okoronkwo- Lincoln City- 4th out of 24
Okoronkwo was an unused substitute in Lincoln’s 1-0 home defeat to Exeter City, as The Imps’ eight-game unbeaten run in League One came to an end.
The forward returns to action at Sincil Bank after the break, in a top-of-the-table clash against Stevenage.
Martin Sherif- Rotherham United- 22nd out of 24
Sherif played 63 minutes in Rotherham’s last-gasp 3-2 win over Oldham Athletic in the EFL Trophy.
The Millers travel to Northampton Town on Saturday, with the striker in search of his third goal for the club.
Tyler Onyango- Stockport County- 7th out of 24
Onyango saw red for the first time in his senior career despite a positive performance, as the 22-year-old was dismissed for a second bookable offence in Stockport’s 2-1 win at Huddersfield Town.
The defender did complete 90 minutes in the EFL Trophy in midweek, but will be banned for The Hatters’ game against Blackpool this weekend.
League Two:
Isaac Heath- Accrington Stanley- 20th out of 24
Heath was deployed as a left-winger in Stanley’s 2-0 defeat at Barnet, as John Doolan’s woes continue.
The Reds host fellow strugglers Newport County on Saturday.
National League North:
Fraser Barnsley- Marine- 13th out of 24
Barnsley was on the bench for Marine’s 1-0 win at Macclesfield, as Bobby Grant’s side rose above their opponents into 13th.
The goalkeeper will hope to be back between the sticks against Curzon Ashton this weekend.
