Player Ratings | Everton 2-0 West Ham

Gylfi Sigurdsson celebrates his goal to put Everton 2-0 up against West Ham

The Toffees have won a game! And what a performance it was, the player ratings below;

Jordan Pickford – 7 – A good performance by England’s number 1, some great saves late on to keep his cleansheet

Lucas Digne – 7 – Great defensive performance by Lucas today. Some really good link up play with his partner in crime Bernard. Maybe his crossing could be a bit better

Yerry Mina – 8 – Big Yerry Mina, what a performance today by the Colombian. Like Michael Keane he’d head a brick wall. Unlucky to not have a goal today as well. He’s got a funny run too

Michael Keane – 7- Not much to say on the Keano front really. Defended pretty well I thought, but was pretty quiet game for him overall.

Djibril Sidibe -9- Wow! What an amazing first league start from the Frenchman. Brilliant going forward, calm as you like when defending. Seamus Coleman might have an issue trying to get back into the side

Tom Davies -7- Tom Davies, his first league start of the season and looked like he had played every game so far. Spotted into the midfield perfectly in that holding midfield role. Made up for him!

Andre Gomes -8- I tweeted out a few weeks back saying how much we were missing Gomes in midfield and got told he didn’t add anything. That lad was one of the best players on the pitch today. Calm as you like on the ball and some of his passes were superb

Bernard -8- We’ve missed this fella on the left, his first goal was absolutel class. How it went in I’m not sure but it did! Amazing control. Happy to see him back on the pitch

Alex Iwobi -7- Good game by Alex today and was happy to see him play in the number 10 role. Hopefully more of the same going forward. Unlucky not to have a goal.

Theo Walcott -7- Theo Walcott, I think is very much a marmite player. Some like him, some don’t. I myself thought he played really well today and was VERY unlucky not to have a goal today. Linked up well with Sidibe

Richarlison -7- One of his better games this season. Think he needs more help up front as he was getting thrown from pillar to post at times during the game and the ref done nothing for majority. Hopefully he can get on a goal scoring streak soon. Done well for Sigurdsson’s goal

SUBS

Mason Holgate -N/A- Was only on the pitch for like 2 minutes

Gylfi Sigurdsson-7- Wasnt on the pitch for long but what a goal by Gylfi today. Letting Iwobi know he won’t give up that number 10 slot without a fight

Moise Kean -6- Disnt have much time to do much but kept fighting for the ball and won it back which eventually lead to Gylfi’s goal. Hope to see more of him soon
